Transforming an empty lot into a thriving community garden for fresh produce and neighborhood connection.
The Oak Street neighborhood has been without a grocery store for over 5 years — it's a food desert. We're raising funds to convert an abandoned lot into a community garden where neighbors can grow fresh vegetables, herbs, and fruits. The garden will include raised beds, a greenhouse, composting stations, and a small outdoor classroom for kids. We have volunteers ready to build, but we need funds for soil, seeds, tools, irrigation, and fencing. This garden will feed families, teach kids about nature, and bring our community together.
